AQA Literature exam question flashcards

Flashcards with questions on, Jekyll and Hyde, Power and Conflict poetry, Macbeth and An Inspector Calls.

These flashcards cover sections from four of the topics my year 11 students need for their upcoming English Literature exams.

We’re getting to the point now that students just need to practise planning questions quickly. Not agonizing over it, just coming up with the points and planning the essay they would write if this question came up. I gave them five minutes to plan the essay before they were given another card with another question on – we’ll repeat this again before the exams.

There are four questions for each text: Jekyll and Hyde, Power and Conflict poetry, Macbeth and An Inspector Calls.

  1. Cool Like! Flashcards. Now this brings me back, big-time dude. Recalling decades – ok 35 years ago LOL – back when I prepped for quizzes and tests with flashcards. Brilliant system in so many ways. Impregnate the subconscious mind with images and thoughts, inject with feeling, remember, ace it.
